Rome - Day 3 - Colosseum

Today, we were transported back into history as we walked around the Colosseum, Roman Forum and Palatine Hill.

Rome - Day 2 - Vatican Museum

Today, we visited the Vatican Museum and the Sistine Chapel. Linda described it well - visual overload!
It contains such an eclectic collection of artefacts and art. The buildings themselves are works of art.

1st Day in Rome

Last night, after very tiring flights we arrived in Rome and finally got some much needed sleep.
Today was our first day exploring Rome.
We used a "Hop on Hop off" bus to get the lay of the land. We then spent the day wandering the many piazzas.
